The Yashraj Bharati Samman was founded to recognise these changemakers, honour their service, and carry their stories to the world.

Every nomination passes through five carefully structured rounds of evaluation, designed to ensure that no extraordinary effort goes unnoticed, and no decision is made without thorough, independent scrutiny.

The Three Categories
A Gesture of Gratitude,
not Just Recognition.
Each year, three laureates are honoured at the Yashraj Bharati Samman Gratitude Ceremony (आभार समारोह). Every laureate receives three things
A handcrafted medallion inspired by the sacred concept of “Bindu”, with rippling circles representing each laureate’s far-reaching impact.
The Medallion
A grant of ₹1 Crore 1 Lakh per category, an open-ended fund to fuel new initiatives and expand existing ones.
The Samman Fund
A multilingual visual identity rooted in Indian craft traditions, handcrafted using traditional techniques and natural materials.
